Lexias satrapes amlana is a subspecies native to the Philippines, with no common name. This butterfly was especially striking to me, as it has a completely opposite pattern on the reverse side of its wings (pictured). Utilized in this 2" diamond to showcase the pattern, it makes for two pendants in one. This is another species that was new to me, and I am not sure when, if ever, I will get another one to work with!
